Eastern West Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya was carved out of the erstwhile West Khasi Hills District on the 10th November 2021. The district lies in the central part of the State of Meghalaya and is situated between (25 degrees 10’ and 25 degrees 51’ N Latitude, and between 91 degrees 10′ and 91 degrees 50′ E Longitude).
